  • The right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR)
  • The right to erasure (Art. 17 of the GDPR)
  • The right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • The right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR)
  • The right to restriction of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)
  • The right to object to data processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

To exercise these rights, please contact: dataprivacy.DE(at)leadec-services.com. The same applies if you have questions about data processing at our company. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Rights to object

Please note the following regarding your right to object: If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object to this data processing at any time without providing a reason. This would also apply in the case of profiling, to the extent that it is related to direct marketing.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes. The objection is free of charge and may be submitted in any form, preferably to: dataprivacy.DE(at)leadec-services.com

In the event that we process your data to safeguard legitimate interests, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions.

We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Purposes and legal bases for data processing

When processing your personal data, we comply with the provisions of the GDPR, the BDSG, and all other applicable data protection regulations. The legal basis for data processing is derived in particular from Article 6 of the GDPR.

As an industrial services specialist, we use your data to initiate business relationships, fulfill contractual and legal obligations, execute the contractual relationship, offer products and services, and strengthen customer relationships, which may also include analyses for marketing purposes and direct marketing.

Your consent to data processing may also constitute a legal basis for data protection purposes. In such cases, we will inform you in advance about the purposes of the data processing and your right to withdraw consent. If the consent also relates to the processing of special categories of personal data, we will expressly point this out to you in the consent form.

Processing of special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9(1) of the GDPR takes place only if it is required by law and there is no reason to believe that your legitimate interest in excluding such processing outweighs this requirement. Data processing based on legitimate interests with regard to special categories of personal data is not currently taking place.

Obligation to provide data

Various types of personal data may be necessary for the establishment, performance, and termination of the contractual relationship and/or the fulfillment of the associated contractual and legal obligations. The same applies to the use of our website and the various functions it provides.

In certain cases, data must also be collected or provided due to legal requirements. Please note that, for example, processing your inquiry or fulfilling the underlying contractual relationship is not possible without the provision of this data.

Automated individual decision-making

We currently do not use purely automated processing procedures to make decisions.

Use of artificial intelligence

As part of our business activities and to support our internal processes, we may use systems based on artificial intelligence methods or containing AI functionalities. This may serve, in particular, to efficiently process inquiries, assist in the creation, analysis, structuring, or quality assurance of content, and improve our services.

To the extent that personal data is processed in this context, it is done exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR. Processing takes place only to the extent that there is an appropriate legal basis for doing so, in particular to fulfill contractual or pre-contractual obligations, to comply with legal obligations, based on your consent, or based on our legitimate interests. In doing so, we adhere in particular to the principles of purpose limitation, data minimization, confidentiality, and integrity.

We do not use AI systems to subject you exclusively to automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, unless we expressly indicate this separately and a necessary legal basis exists for doing so.

If you interact directly with an AI system or are provided with content that has been generated or modified entirely or substantially with the aid of AI, we will inform you of this in an appropriate manner, to the extent required by law. This applies in particular to transparency obligations under the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Regulation.

Personal data will only be disclosed to external providers of AI systems to the extent necessary for the respective purpose and provided that the data protection requirements are met. To the extent that service providers process personal data on our behalf, we enter into appropriate data processing agreements. Data will only be transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area if the legal requirements for such transfers are met.

HubSpot

We use HubSpot on our website, a service provided by HubSpot, Inc., 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA.

HubSpot is a cloud-based marketing platform used to carry out and evaluate marketing activities and to analyze user behavior on our website. In particular, the service enables us to optimize marketing campaigns and track the success of our online offerings. HubSpot uses marketing cookies to recognize visitors, evaluate marketing campaigns, and measure conversions.

In the course of using the service, the following personal data, in particular, may be processed:

  • IP address,
  • Timestamp,
  • Information on visitor behavior,
  • Conversion data,
  • User-Agent (browser and device information),
  • Language settings,
  • Websites visited,
  • Time zone.

This data is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 25(1) of the TDDDG. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings.

The cookies set by HubSpot are stored, depending on the cookie, for the duration of the session, 30 minutes, or up to 180 days. Any personal data stored beyond this period will be deleted or anonymized as soon as it is no longer necessary for the stated purposes or you revoke your consent, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

Personal data may be transferred to the United States. This transfer is safeguarded by appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

For more information on HubSpot’s processing of personal data, please refer to the provider’s privacy policy at: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy

YouTube

We embed videos from the “YouTube” platform, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, into our online offering. The videos are embedded in enhanced privacy mode.

Embedding the video in enhanced privacy mode prevents the setting of cookies that require consent and track user behavior to personalize video playback. However, enhanced privacy mode applies only to the tracking of user behavior; it does not apply to the display of advertisements or the reloading of additional third-party content.

To protect your data, we also use the so-called “two-click solution.” All YouTube content is disabled by default. A direct connection to YouTube’s servers is established only when you actively enable YouTube yourself. With this click, you consent to, for example, your IP address, referrer information (i.e., the website from which you came to us), and browser data being transmitted to YouTube, and to cookies being set in your browser. This data is then typically transmitted to a server in the United States and stored there.

You have the option to re-grant your consent at any time, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, for viewing individual videos.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy. There you will also find further information about your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Social Media Links

On our website, you will find links to the social media services of LinkedIn, Xing, Instagram, and YouTube. The subdomains www.hungary.leadec-services.com and www.spain.leadec-services.com do not contain any links to Xing. Accordingly, no data is transferred to Xing on these subdomains. You can recognize links to the websites of these social media services by the respective company logo. If you follow these links, you will be directed to the Leadec Holding BV & Co. KG profile on the respective social media service. When you click on a link to a social media service, a connection is established with the servers of that social media service. This notifies the social media service’s servers that you have visited our website. In addition, other data is transmitted to the provider of the social media service. This includes, for example:

  • The URL of the webpage on which the link was clicked
  • Date and time of the website visit or when the link was activated
  • Information about the browser and operating system used
  • IP address

If you are already logged in to the relevant social media service when you click the link, the social media service provider may be able to determine your username and, in some cases, even your real name from the transmitted data and associate this information with your personal user account on the social media service. You can prevent this association with your personal user account by logging out of your user account beforehand.

The servers of the social media services are located in the United States and other countries outside the European Union. The data may therefore also be processed by the social media service provider in countries outside the European Union. Please note that companies in these countries are subject to data protection laws that generally do not protect personal data to the same extent as those in the member states of the European Union.

Please note that we have no influence over the scope, nature, or purpose of data processing by the social media service provider. For more information on how your data is used by the social media services integrated into our website, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social media service.
